BRANDING / UX/UI DESIGN / WORKSHOPS & FACILITATION

Spybee is a platform that provides a comprehensive solution for geographical and construction projects. Engineers, architects, and constructors can easily access all the necessary information, including data gathered by drones and advanced analytics. The platform is user-friendly, with a clear and simple UI that makes it easy to understand and use.

We began by conducting research on the target audience to understand their needs and pain points. We also researched existing solutions in the market to identify what was already available and what could be improved. Next, we facilitated a design sprint workshop with the Spybee team to brainstorm and prototype the MVP version of their product. This helped us to quickly validate and iterate on different ideas. We then began working on the branding for Spybee. We created a visual identity that would represent the company and its values.

Branding

We collaborated with the Spybee team to develop their brand. We centered the concept around using bees as a metaphor for the brand, tying in the idea of construction and teamwork. We retained the yellow color as the primary color and presented three different design iterations.

Workshop

We held a design sprint workshop, where over the course of five days, we were able to map and sketch out concepts, make decisions, and prototype. After the workshop, we conducted usability testing using Useberry, where we sent an interactive prototype to validate our ideas.

Prototype

This is the initial prototype resulting from our design sprint workshop. It features an invitation process via email, various ways to view projects, and an initial concept for displaying the primary dashboard for each project. A significant aspect of the prototype is the ability for users to add comments directly on the map, which was prototyped and tested.

Design and Results

Based on the results of usability testing, these adjustments were made to the final product:
1. The top bar's organization was simplified and made smaller to prioritize the content.
2. A secondary level of navigation was implemented within the projects section to showcase the different views.
3. We designed a dark version and mobile version.
4. We added analytics section to allow users to control and monitor their projects.

Website

Overall, I designed the website with the goal of making it user-friendly, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. I used a clean, modern aesthetic that is easy on the eyes, and I made sure to keep the website's layout simple and uncluttered.

Mobile Version

For the mobile version of the project, we decided to focus on functionality over responsiveness. Instead of trying to replicate the full website experience on a smaller screen, we prioritized the functionalities that are most important for mobile users and organized everything in a way that provides a quick and easy summary of the information. This approach allows users to access the most essential features and information quickly and easily, while still providing a seamless and intuitive experience on a mobile device.

The Challenge

Datagran it's a complex product that involves Big Data, AI and Data Science. The challenge was to design solutions for user that are complex but usable, allowing people to interprate their own data and obtein powerful insights
