I was tasked with redesigning a digital platform for restaurants. The goal of the project was to create a user-friendly platform that would improve the efficiency and accuracy of order-taking for waiters, providing insightful data to restaurant admins and owners. while also providing a better experience for customers.

Background

Redesigning the experience for restaurant managers

The current platform for restaurants is outdated and difficult to navigate. Many restaurants are struggling to update their menus and promotions, and customers are having a hard time finding the information they need. The platform also lacks mobile optimization and has a high bounce rate.

Objective

The goal of the redesign is to create a user-friendly platform that is easy for restaurants to update their information and for customers to find what they're looking for. The platform should also be tablet-optimized to improve the user experience.

Design

Based on the research, we created a new platform that addresses the needs of both restaurants and customers. The new platform includes the following features:
• A custom powerful dashboard for restaurant managers and owners to keep track of all important information
• A simple and intuitive interface for waiters to take orders.
• A search function for waiters to easily find the information they need.
• A tablet-optimized design to improve the user experience on multiple devices.
• A visually appealing design with better organization and easy navigation.

The Challenge

Datagran it's a complex product that involves Big Data, AI and Data Science. The challenge was to design solutions for user that are complex but usable, allowing people to interprate their own data and obtein powerful insights
